Noun 1. vitreous humor: the clear colorless transparent jelly that fills the posterior chamber of the eyeball

I am a photographer living and working in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. These images may have nothing to do with anything or something to do with everything.

Info

This photoblog was begun in February of 2003 when I carried a Nikon Coolpix 950 (of which, the twist function I cannot say enough) with me everywhere I went. The photoblog (then Ospin) was a motivation to find something interesting but unnecessary to photograph on a daily basis. The site quickly became a motivation to photograph outside of work. It renewed my personal aesthetic and drove me to look closer and closer at my surroundings. Vitreous Humor is now an assignment of sorts that keeps me seeing creativly.

The photos were originally uncropped, minimally edited, and strictly non-figurative. I have let these restrictions give way to more creative techniques with Photoshop. Figures are working their way in as well.
